About

Wildpath Libary is an internal community resource journal visible to the public for individuals who understand themselves as nonhuman/other-than-human. Wildpath Library is conceived as a resource and cultural hub for nonhuman perspectives, providing resources, art, media, literature, research and news produced by nonhumans and others who work closely with us.

In other words, we understand ourselves as ‘not human’ while recognizing that we are also occupying human lives. Nonhuman identity is itself a much larger discursive field, exploring the many entanglements and emergence of cross-species and human-nonhuman identity relations in a variety of modes, from culture, art, philosophy, science, and spirituality.

This concept of identity exists across many communities, such as otherkin, therianthropes (animal-humans), the Global Vampire Community (GVC), pagan, animist, primal and alternative spiritualities, neuroatypicality, posthumanist and nonhumanist philosophies, ecological views, decoloniality and indigeneity, and other beliefs.

This library is a collection of writings, art, music, culture and perspectives by members of these communities. It is open to submissions from any voice who is contributing to the pool of knowledge, ideas and culture of nonhumanity.

Submissions will be considered and reviewed by our editors.
